Should Page Rank Be Replaced by Page Strength?

Posted by iberbiz in SEO

Within the last few years Google has waged a form of war against the paid links market and this has led to many page rank penalties – it is now virtually impossible to know the true page rank of a given site. Paid links selling has without doubt ruined what was once a very interesting rating from Google. This has resulted in many high traffic and powerful websites being given a page rank toolbar penalty. This leads to a new debate; should the Google page rank toolbar be replaced by another tool such as the Google page strength toolbar?

I personally have a number of websites to do with offering leaflet printing, jobs in foster care and composite doors – I have to say that I really do not care about page rank these days.

So what would this page strength rank represent? Forgive me for sounding like a typical politician as to start with I would like to answer the question with a question: What are the current issues with page rank in its current form. Many webmasters believe that a website has two actual page rank values, one that you see on your toolbar and one that is its real value that is only available to certain people within Google itself. Why the two ratings? Well I suppose Google are attempting or hoping that people will not continue to purchase text links on a site if the page rank they see on the toolbar is lowered.

My idea for page strength would be to have one true value shown on the toolbar but it would be displayed in one of two colours. With a site such as seroundtable I would suggest that it would have a pr6 in the colour red. This red colour shows danger, it shows the public that the site does pass on “link juice” which would indicate that it has been penalised. A site which does pass “link juice” could be shown with a green colour but if it were to start selling links would then be at risk from turning red.

Google Love – Five Top Tips To Make Google Love Your Site

Posted by iberbiz in Internet marketing

Making an attempt to fight Google or be cleverer somehow is pointless, harmful and the wrong attitude.

Learn to LOVE Google and work WITH IT instead – and it will send you streams upon streams of people. It’s as easy as pie if you follow these straightforward instructions.

1. Google Love …

Google and every one its programming is not some type of enemy – unless you are a piece of web scum, that is.

Google relies on the concept that it should help individuals FIND WHAT THEY ARE LOOKING FOR.

That is all.

Sit with the statement above. Meditate upon it if necessary. Use EFT.

However UNDERSTAND {that a} pointless web site that has no unique content can NEVER get ANYWHERE with Googly or any alternative outfit that is using their techniques and methods.

You’ll be able to get books and ebooks till your wallet bleeds on “a way to trick Google” this which – just forget it.

Unless you have SOME THING that SOME PEOPLE will HONESTLY WANT and treasure once they notice it, there’s no hope and there is no purpose in reading any further.

Additionally, trying to fight Google or be cleverer somehow is pointless, destructive and the incorrect attitude.

Learn to LOVE Google and work WITH IT.

If you’ve got the contents, and you follow the most simplest common spider robot courtesy protocols, then it will return and it will index you.

It will be that mystical bridge between YOUR (customers, folks, communities, friends) and your site.

That is what it will, that is what it’s, that is it’s nature and if you know that, then all is well.

You may get sensible results following the remainder of this.

2. Dressing For Google …

So currently, let’s have a DECENT web site with DECENT content.

A good website means:

– All the pages and directories have links that employment properly and allow Google to slide with immense ease from one place to the other, without ever hitting an annoying dead finish;

– All the pages are cleaned up thus that you’ve got absolutely the MINIMUM of html directions and nothing that doesn’t want to be there, such as vast and pointless java scripts or the really appalling “mso” instructions;

– All the pages have the right meta tags which ACCURATELY REFLECT what is on them, and together with title, content, description, keywords at the very minimum;

– All your pages have correct headings and descriptions and content WHICH MATCHES your meta tags to a T;

– All your images are title and alt tagged CORRECTLY and resident on your own site.

Tight content means:

– No matter you’ve got, it is USEFUL. If it’s UNIQUE, therefore abundant the higher, and that is not hard. All you would like to is to be yourself and use your own words, even if you’re affiliate – write your own reviews, place your own dog’s image on it, be unique, be YOURSELF.

– Whatever you have got, I am sure there is some folks who want to look at it, browse it, do something with it. There’s billions of people out there. Simply create certain YOU KNOW WHO YOUR PEOPLE ARE and write to THEM.

– Decent content conjointly means that that what you have got is presented thus that each Google and a personality’s being get it what that’s all about.

When your web site is up and running, take a look at, test and take a look at again. Try every single hyperlink on your own laptop, on somebody else’s and on all manner of different browsers.

Only when you’re happy that it all works because it should, we attend Step 3.

3. Let Google SEE You

You need at least 35 good links visiting your website for Google to require any notice of you and begin paying attention.

Please bear in mind that “one link” is simply that – http://www.snark.web is NOT the same as http://www.snark.net, that is not the same as http://snark.web, nor even remotely the same as any variation including http://snark.web/index.php

All, every and every ONE is viewed as a single separate link – when you wish 35 ALL GOING TO ONE SINGLE ADDRESS to try to to the magic.

Thus currently, to the “tight links” part.

A website that may not indexed much by Google or doesn’t turn up till page 1,993,990 on a Google search for its kind is WORTHLESS to you.

Realize HIGH RANKED directory listings for your site and list your web site THERE. This goes for any of the various variations on getting a link from another website, be it a guestbook signed or a writing placed. Do not waste some time with anything that itself does not turn up on Google’s own prime ten.

Currently, you have got a date with Google.

What we have a tendency to need to do next is to BUILD A RELATIONSHIP – prove our value and price over time, in different words.

Most significantly, get the simplest tracking software you’ll be able to afford and realize out who is already coming back, and what they are coming for.

That’s the key to future success – to find what you’re doing well and then expanding on it. For instance, if one person came from Google (or any alternative search engine) for the term “snark”, then build on that. Write a lot of articles regarding snarks, what to try to to with them and while not them, how to avoid them, collect snark pictures – in other words, become the first port of decision for any snark enquiry.

Build on your speciality some additional with a internet directory, guest articles, reviews and then we have a tendency to’re additional than 3/4 the manner to a true internet presence and Google responding to changes in your website near instantly, that is what we want.

Name your pages, pictures and directories better. Improve the content, structure, navigation of your site.

Keep at it with directory listings and submissions – directories come and go, you wish to be continuously there with the “state-of-the-art”.

Keep doing helpful link exchanges with matching high ranked sites too and keep adding VALUE and UNIQUE CONTENT to your clean and well presented pages.

That’s the foremost important thing of all – to stay at it with continuous improvement.

Google Is Taking Descriptions From Alexa

Posted by iberbiz in Internet marketing

If you are taking your prime key word search engine placement among Google and have a look at your web site’s description, you will notice something similar with different websites, the descriptions match those taken from Alexa.com!!!

Take a peek for yourself.

one – Look for your high key word in Google (sometimes the first key phrase inside your title tag).

2 – Now copy & paste this description in an exceedingly note pad or word doc.

three – Once you’ve got this, move to: www.alexa.com

four – Kind in your “url” in the address bar

five – Observe the description from Google and the description from Alexa, they should be an actual match.

NOTE: If you are doing not have a description in Alexa, Google will come up with its own version but in reality, wouldn’t you wish to be in control of your website’s description within the SERP’s?

Not having an outline in Alexa – May it directly have an effect on your Google search engine results?

ABSOLUTELY ! ! !

I’d recommend trying at your description in Alexa to make certain that it directly targets your top key phrase that you wish performing well inside Google.

Your Alexa description may very well determine better SERPS among Google! Google feeds results into Alexa which in turn updates info on web site ranking. They are partnered up, why would not they use each others results?!

Alexa’s Description is that the “text book” definition:

I don’t blame Google for desperate to use these descriptions. Most descriptions in Alexa are the “text book version” of your company’s description and are sometimes well written, and well thought out. This could offer Google a plus so that they will spend less time on delivering quality descriptions and additional time delivering better results within their searches.

I very like this idea as a result of if this were true across the board, Google would be giving the individual web site owner additional freedom to write a correct description for his or her SERPS without using it to spam or produce false information. Again, it would need to be approved by Alexa’s team anyways, they in all probability would not allow key word stuffing for their web site as it is.
